Gdogg 1-5 Ausitn Minnesota
Austin Minnesota treated us well in 2009 with a technical track that treated Adam Kerber well, and honestly put some fear into me. This round only saw #351 and 866 hitting the track, but overall we were treated quite well. Adam had a night of amazing hole-shots that catapulted him into the lead on both motos, and left the competition wondering what they could do to catch up with his Kawi 450. Adam had only one close call at this race when a rider made a poor attempt at an aggressive block pass, a rider who actually took him out at the Jordan Fair race.
Despite being aggravated by that attempt, Adam powered away, and essentially checked out from the competition. Adam was riding do well, that he actually had time to do a bit of goon riding on his final lap. Adam ended up with a 2nd in moto one, and a strong 1st in moto 2.
I had a decent race during both motos, however I was totally afraid of hitting one of the jumps after watching riders in C-Class landing on each-other on it, and blowing over the berm into some of the most soupy mud imaginable. I ended up with 5th in both motos, having a good battle with a Honda that was doing the double I was too scared to attempt.

Race Report - Nielsville Wisconsin
It has been a long time coming, but G-Dogg Racing is now back to being updated (hopefully) more regularly. We have had many requests for updates, form many people throughout the country! So, As we near the end of the 2009 race series. We will try to post up race reports as we progress. We have had a really busy summer for 2009, and will post up a more detailed recap later, however, for now lets focus on the most recent event in Nielsville Wisconsin.
With over an inch of rain the previous night, and temperatures topping off in the low 90s, Neilsville was a totally different event from anything we had experienced so far this year. We had been fortunate to be in cool / dry weather so far in 2009, and had to get into a different for this event!
With Michael Will, being out for the season (Broken Collarbone), our remaining fast rider Adam Kerber, has had to do quite a bit to keep the high speed end of the team. With consistant top five finishes for most of 2009, Adam is holding quite a few points in Open B, and competing for the championship in that class with team friend Cody Slark (Honda 473). It has been a challenging, but productive season for Adam, and thankfully we are not done with 2009 yet!
To see how the night finished out for G-Dogg Racing, check out the video posted below!

G-Dogg Racing 2009 Training
G-Dogg Racing has been taking some time working on training for the summer riding season in ways that are both normal and slightly abnormal. The goal is to improve endurance, balance, and also have a great time doing so! One aspect of our balance training is stemming from use of Razor scooters in the Kerber Automotive shop in Jordan Minnesota. On their concrete floor, we have mapped out a challenging track that we intend to use for a 90 minute kick scooter endurance race. Because these scooters are two wheeled machines, the gang is learning some good control skills in on these slow speed vehicles, and building some good cardio endurance. At this point, we are planning on inviting friends from Greig Racing to participate in the race, as well as other riders we know in the area.
Recently we have been making the trek over to Sandbox Arena for Sunday evening riding. The track is amazing, and keeps us totally in tune with our machines, and in shape for riding. We are going to try to attend every practice session possible, while also making an effort to stay on track during the entire practice session. The group is learning that the best way to stay safe, and have fun on the track is to ride at 7 - 8/10s of their ability during the entire practice session, to both build speed, and the needed control skills to participate in races that will actually be much shorter (in time and laps).
For our practice sessions at Sandbox, we have been joining up with Tom Greig's team, Greig Racing. Riders Danny Greig and Josh Lindgren have been going to Sandbox all winter, and thankfully have been taking the time to help us out with getting setup, and keeping the bikes going!
Keep tuned for more updates, and watch for more gallery additions as we ride deeper into 2009!

Results are in

First off, all of us at G-Dogg racing apologize for the lack of updates to the site in 2008. The season hit us hard, and kept us busier than any year prior. With that said, you must be expecting some mega updates, and they are coming as soon as possible.
With over 26 events, and many more days of practice, we have quite a bit of stuff to get out there, including some really cool multimedia which includes helmet camera videos, as well as trackside. We also have an addition to our friend list, consisting of two great race families that both accompanied us to events, but also challenged us to be our best!
Keep an eye open for updates, as things will be moving somewhat quick during the next couple of weeks. We will reflect on the past season, update Rider profiles, and get prepped for the "off season".

G-Dogg Racing - Voss Ranch March 2008
Team G-Dogg Racing has again been invited by Heath Voss to stay at his ranch outside of San Antonio Texas for some early spring training. Here the guys have had some time to learn some of the trade secrets from one of Minnesota's own Motocross heros, as well as a few tricks that Heath himself picked up from others in his career such as Donny Schmidt. What are those tricks? Sorry , as Jessica Kerber may say "we aint telling".The weather on this trip has been quite warm so far, with temperatures expected to be rising into the 90's on Thursday and Friday, Seat time is going to be both hot and exhausting! Keep track of our gallery for images. So far we have a good sample of images taken on this trip, including Heath Voss, on his Supermoto bike, and his minnesota friend Darren Chelin who is both a great rider, and mechanic.
